Not Related but Still Pretty Cool

A few weeks back we took a quick day trip to Temecula. While there we stopped at The Swing In Cafe (home of the best bacon on the planet and a delicious breakfast served all day) located in Old Town Temecula. But this post is not about tasty restaurants, it’s about their Hot Rod Fridays which they host from 3 to 9pm. Unfortunately, we had to get on the road to beat the traffic but we did see a handful of amazing Hot Rods before we left and one in particular really caught our eyes. Now bear with us, as we are arcade stick, not car enthusiast but it looks like an original PT Cruiser that has received a beyond custom Woody package. Look closely at that gorgeous maple and mahogany, those aren’t veneers baby!

Monster Army

Have you ever had one of those days where you’re working on a project, moving along well and envisioning finishing early with enough daylight to take some great pictures of your completed masterpiece? Our Sunday started out that way and ended with zero sunlight, a sink full of dirty dishes and a strong desire to go to bed, so our apologizes for these poorly lit and hastily taken photos of cupcake Monsters we made for Halloween.



To keep the monsters company we also made Candy Corn cupcakes, the batter was colored and layered to match a real piece of candy corn.


We will say the leftovers were very enjoyable after a good night's sleep and a Swiffered kitchen.
